Sigma S30 Car Alarm supplied and fitted from £749*
The Sigma S30 is an analogue alarm system ideal for older cars, vans and motorhomes. When your Insurance company asks for a Cat 1 then this system may be suitable depending on the original car system wiring. Please ask us to advise you on your make, model and year of vehicle.
For more modern digital cars we recommend the Pandora Mini BT as a minimum.
This is a Thatcham Approved 'Category 1: Alarm and Immobiliser', which is therefore Insurance Approved. However, this is also a good alarm system when it is just for your peace of mind.
This is the most secure level of Alarm with protection for the doors, boot and bonnet. It has a battery back-up siren and comes with the essential aftermarket immobilisation. The Immobiliser stops the vehicle from starting unless the cuts are made good, and if a thief tries to do this the alarm will be going off as soon as they gain entry.
The Sigma S30 comes with two 1-button remotes. This is a simple to use device with push once to arm, and push again to disarm. If your vehicle has central locking then this system can be set to give remote central locking from that working system.
If we need to fit door motors to achieve remote central locking then this will be at extra cost.
These alarm systems are ideal for all types of vehicle. This includes Subaru, classic Range Rover, motorhomes before 2012 and other older vans. The choice of alarm system is dictated by the vehicle itself and is not really a customer choice. However, we can provide the Clifford Concept 650 Mk3 which is a similar system and may be available for your car.
Generally there are less of these analogue alarm system available now, as most cars are now digital.
It is a feature of this alarm system that is has a keypad override. The alarm comes with a 4-digit pin code that can be used in emergencies. This typically is because the remote has be lost or broken and the spare is at home. This is easy to do, but should not provide a long term solution, as the system is not designed to be used in that way permanently.
If customers require new remotes we can supply and programme these in at a later date.
* Extra parts and services will be charged separately.
