No Tag No Start

This is a no tag no start system. The S5 tracker is fitted with 2-point immobilisation so that if the tag is not present, the motorhome will not start. Thieves need to have physical skills to be able to get these vehicles going!

System is fitted with 2 identical tags.

Aftermarket Category 2 Immobiliser

This system comes with an integrated aftermarket Category 2 Immobiliser. This is a 2-point immobiliser and is Thatcham Approved to Category 2: Electronic Immobiliser standards.

The key word here is 'Aftermarket'. All UK cars have a Cat2 fitted at manufacture, however anything fitted at manufacture is weak. This is due to the system being identical in each vehicle, fitted in the same way and location, and often being integrated into the vehicle CAN-Bus system. These security systems are easily known, and got around. The stealing technique is the same for all vehicles of that year and type.

Aftermarket means an independent system from the car. A thief will not know which device is fitted, how it is fitted, where it is fitted and will not be able to override it by accessing the car CAN-Bus system. An aftermarket Cat 2 is an essential security product.

S5 Tracker Levels

There are 3 levels of S5 Tracker. The first is a basic S5, the second is an S5 with 1-point immobilisation and the third is S5 with 2-point immobilisation (this one).

All 3 levels of S5 VTS come with unique driver ID tag.

Ecotrak S5-2 VTS

The Ecotrak S5-2 is suitable for all vehicles. It can be installed on Motorhomes, Campers, cars and vans with the one App being used for all vehicles.

We recommend customers keep to one platform for all their vehicles for simplicity.

Your S5 VTS tracker will be fitted at our secure workshop in Fareham. We are not mobile but can take in vehicles overnight for next day installation. Installation takes about 3-5 hours and customers can wait, or visit local warehouse shops (B&M / Asda / Matalan / Costa).
