When returning to your car if the alarm chirps 3 times, this indicates the alarm was triggered while you were away from the vehicle.
The status LED will then flash a number of times, repeating the sequence 2 times. (e.g. Door Switch = 4 Flashes, Pause, 4 Flashes, Pause, 4 Flashes)
Please note: this sequence is not automatically repeated.
The specific zone that triggered the alarm to go off, can be seen from this look-up table:
Hornet Maxx 1 Trigger Codes |
|
| 3 Flashes | Optional Sensor 2 |
| 4 Flashes | Door Trigger |
| 5 Flashes | Boot/Bonnet Trigger |
| 6 Flashes | Closed Circuit Trigger |
| 7 Flashes | Ultrasonic Sensors |
| 8 Flashes | Ignition Trigger |
Please note: Some of these sensors and features are optional at the time of alarm installation.
If when arming the system the alarm gives the normal 2 chirps / 2 flashes, but then gives an additional 3 chirps/flashes. This means a door is ajar.
