Hornet Maxx 1 Trigger Codes

When returning to your car if the alarm chirps 3 times, this indicates the alarm was triggered while you were away from the vehicle.

The status LED will then flash a number of times, repeating the sequence 2 times. (e.g. Door Switch = 4 Flashes, Pause, 4 Flashes, Pause, 4 Flashes)

Please note: this sequence is not automatically repeated.

The specific zone that triggered the alarm to go off, can be seen from this look-up table:

Hornet Maxx 1 Trigger Codes

3 Flashes Optional Sensor 2
4 Flashes Door Trigger
5 Flashes Boot/Bonnet Trigger
6 Flashes Closed Circuit Trigger
7 Flashes Ultrasonic Sensors
8 Flashes Ignition Trigger

Please note: Some of these sensors and features are optional at the time of alarm installation.

If when arming the system the alarm gives the normal 2 chirps / 2 flashes, but then gives an additional 3 chirps/flashes. This means a door is ajar.
