Clifford 2:1 Upgrade Car Alarm

The Clifford 2:1 upgrade car alarm is a Clifford branded system for CANBus vehicles. This Cat 1 will turn your pre-existing immobiliser into a Thatcham Approved full alarm system with protection for doors, boot, bonnet and interior intrusion.

Clifford CANBus Alarms

Clifford CANBus alarms are vehicle specific and grouped into three different types. We can tell you if your car requires a type 1, 2 or 3 and programme the system to your individual make the model. This is all done prior to fitting and to ensure a smooth install we require specific details including your car's year of manufacture.

The system is suitable for most types of vehicle including vans, classic cars and prestige.

Upgrade Car Alarm

This is an upgrade car alarm with interior ultrasonics and protection for car doors, boot and bonnet. It uses your original factory supplied remote control, turning your immobiliser into a full Thatcham Approved Category 1 car alarm suitable for insurance requirements.

The system is fitted with the classic bright blue Clifford LED and this flashes to show the vehicle is fitted with an alarm. There is also a function input button for easy system adjustment, however we will set the car alarm up for you and it is very rare that any adjustment is necessary.

* Extra Parts and Labour will incur a reasonable additional charge as some vehicles require extra time for fitting e.g. Nissan Elgrand adds £80 to any alarm system, built motorhomes may need extra installation time, and door motor fitting is charged extra on a per door basis.
