Motorhome Insurance Alarm

This is a Thatcham Approved and therefore a motorhome Insurance Alarm system. We use the Autowatch 695 which is a Category 2-1: Alarm upgrade. Most car Insurance companies will recognise this system and often ask for it by name.

The 695 can be fitted with wireless door sensors making sure that all the entry points to the van are protected by the alarm system.

S7 for Motorhome and Campers

The S7 is the entry level tracking system and comes without driver tags. This system is ideal when an Insurance company has just said the van requires a tracker without specifying if the system should be a Cat S5 (with tags). This is usually the case with older motorhomes and campers, where the value of the vehicle may not be so high.

Monitoring Costs

All Insurance trackers require an active monitoring subscription. The ongoing cost of an Category S7 is slightly lower than a category S5.
