GPS Tracking Service

Meta provide a range of GPS fleet tracking solutions and this entry level device is ideal for small fleets, families, or individual cars. This system can be used as a security measure to know where a particular vehicle is, and if it has been moved, it can also be used to monitor the use of certain vehicles within a household or to view vehicle use by young drivers.

Meta is one of the world’s largest telemetric manufacturers, they are experienced providers of car systems and are often at the leading edge of new initiatives.

GPS Tracking Service

However, this GPS tracking service is primarily designed as a self-track service and therefore cannot be used for insurance purposes.

This system is, however, fully transferable as you upgrade to a newer vehicle, but can also be left safely in the car to be activated by a new customer.

The subscription cost is one of the lowest on the market at £55 per vehicle, per year. This is very reasonable and pays for a roaming sim with European cover included as standard.

The installation cost of this product includes a 1-year subscription, customers can also choose to pay for a 3-year subscription package at the time of installation. By paying subscription at the time of installation, the unit becomes live immediately, with customers receiving a text to activate the account and login. To renew subscription the current cost is £55 for one year or £150 for three, directly to Meta Systems.

For this system to work with an already fitted alarm system we require the device to be a recognised UK quality product and if previously installed, fitted to a high standard (no dangling wires, crimp cutters or feeds taken from dangerous sources). Please be aware that there is also a small chance that this feature is not possible for some cars (we can advise you when arrangement for installation is made).
