The Scorpion SA30 is an alarm system that gives protection for doors, boot and bonnet by interior ultrasonic sensors. This alarm comes with a host of features but is not Thatcham Approved and cannot be used if your insurance company requires a Category 1.

Scorpion Alarms are a well-respected UK brand with a long history of design and innovation in the UK. They have also bought out other brands such as Toad and Sterling, to avoid competition with their own products and keep these brands active for some current products.

Scorpion SA30 Features

The SA30 has been around for a while and is ideal for customers who do not require an alarm for insurance purposes. This product is very reliable and used for older type cars that are not CANBus driven. It gives interior protection via ultrasonic sensors and is triggered if either a door, boot or bonnet are opened. If your car has central locking (the key in one door opens all others) then we can wire this alarm to have remote central locking with all doors opening from a button press on the remote.

This alarm has a panic facility, interior sensor bypass also known as 'pet mode', and silent Arm / Disarm. All of these functions are available from pushing a combination of buttons on the hand-held remote.

Using the SA30 Remote

Scorpion SA30 Remote Features:

Button A

Arms system silently (1 second press)

Button A (3 sec)

Panic mode

Arm system (doors lock - if car has central locking, siren sounds, indicator flash)

Disarm system (open doors, siren sounds twice, indicator flash twice)

Disarm system silently (indicator flash twice)

B then B (within 3 sec)

Disable interior sensors 'pet mode'

D (3 sec while disarmed)

Opens the boot (this function will cost extra to install and is car dependent)

* Extra Parts and Labour will incur a reasonable additional charge as some vehicles require extra time for fitting e.g. Nissan Elgrand adds £80 to any alarm system, built motorhomes may need extra installation time, and door motor fitting is charged extra on a per door basis.
